Haul Post: Lots of Masks!

I'm so delightful to undergo this holiday (Yep its already holiday here in my school) as well as posting a new post! Its the 19th day of Ramadhan, hope its going well for my moslem readers outta there Photobucket
Anyway, this is my first haul post. and its full of masks, either its sheet masks or peel-off mask. Actually i bought these around someday on July, but i posted it on August *punched* i'm sorry, its not because i'm lazy.. well.. yes i'm lazy in terms of school, but its different when it comes to blogging Photobucket

I also wanted to write a brief review for each mask i bought Photobucket

• The Face Shop Peeling Day: White Jewel (its a peeling gel, it works wonder! The smell is just perfect. I call it 'the first step toner'. Toner is usually used after a mask, so.. It means, its just like a toner, but used before applying a mask. To enhance the absorption of the mask. After this step done, I usually cleanse again with Etude skin mal:gem toner, or Etude AC clinic toner if i'm on a breakout)

• The Skin Food: Peppermint Pore Diet (a peel-off mask, already wrote the review)

• The Skin Food: GoldKiwi Mask Sheet (i got a free sample of the same line, Gold Kiwi Cream + Serum. Great for dry skin, also for brightening. Has a moisturizing effect. i'm kinda surprised of how its so thick and slightly sticky. the sheet is perfect, its not a 3D one, but fits perfectly for almost all face shapes i think.)

• The Skin Food: Rice Mask Wash-off (i only got the sample size of it, brightens face, I rarely use this if I'm tired, or if I'm too lazy to massage my face lol. Softens my skin, and also pretty impressive i think.)

• The Face Shop: Fresh Fruit Acerola Mask Sheet (has a really really delightful scent. Soothes, and brighten my face at the same time. Feel so fresh too. compared than the other mask, this impress me the most)

• The Face Shop: Mung Bean Mask (lovely scent. Soothes skin, makes my skin supple. Almost the same as the aloe vera mask)

• The Face Shop: Nature Lemon Mask (lovely fresh scent, brightens a bit. But its not really good if compared to the Acerola Mask)

• The Face Shop: Cucumber Mask (A deep mosturizing mask, didn't go very well for oily skin. Smooth and supple. No brightening effect, but more of a fresher. Dry skin would fit with this mask. Leaving skin dewy and has that healthy glow look. But the essence is just plain sticky.)

• The Face Shop: Aloe Vera Mask (Almost the same as what the Cucumber Mask do, but this is more 'fresh' and perfect for a day-off or relaxing. i think all skin types could use this, unlike the cucumber mask, which was meant for dry skin i guess.. what i love about this mask is, i got this for free lol)

The above list is the masks only, the other product as seen on the picture but not in the list, will appears on my blog as the review of it, well not all of 'em, only a few that i consider the best. So, just wait for it ok Photobucket and since its the start of my holiday, i'll be more active as possible than the usual, i'll try Photobucket

I guess the face shop's masks are meant for freshener with additional effect, like brightens, or something like it. For those products above, the winner is the Acerola Mask. i cannot wait to post about it later on..

Oh, and i'm obsessed (not actually the word i wanna use but this is the best my brain could think of lol) of Xiaxue's guide to life lately. She's amazing isn''t she? Photobucket

Oh well, i guess that's it .. Thanks for all the comments Photobucket hopes that my blog made your day!

Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara 01 Power Volume: REVIEW

This is my first ever mascara review, i'm so sorry if it isn't good or not informative enough :)
Moreover, i got my braces changed on yesterday morning, and its painful,it hurts so bad i can't even chew. So i'm sorry if this post seems a little 'fuzzy' simply because i'm handling a pretty painful thing now..
and my bestfriend lately is panadol and biogesic. lol

I bought this along with a hope that it could help me apply mascara more easily. all this time i don't really have that ability to evenly apply a mascara, and ended-up like spider legs. a.k.a spidery lashes. and i have read about that on Michelle Phan's blog.

This, actually did its job by helping me achieve a better appliance. Just take a look at the "pole" applicator that it has. Since the mascara itself is 'magic pole mascara', so this is pretty much the 'star' of the product.
So, lets just try this out. Photobucket
Uhh, it messed up badly when it comes to the matter of 'smudgeproof'. It does fade a bit, after i cried like 2 times and wipe it, but i think i should tolerate that because it was when i'm in a farewell party of my friend's, so, you know.. farewell parties aren't so 'happy' all the time right?
I also apply this on my lower eyelash, and guess, it smudges through my eyebag, making it look like i'm doing a smokey eye make up on my eyebag = yes, i meant panda eyes. This appears not only on my friend's farewell party, but also when i'm going out to a wedding party. The cause might be sweat, so i could still outsmart it by applying an eye primer, i guess?

my eyelash is a bit sparse i think.._. despite being long
Another cons of this, its hard to remove. i use Maybelline eye and lips make-up remover. and needs 5 drops of it to completely remove the mascara. I usually only use 3 drops for eyeliner on both side of my eyes.
Tears feels pretty heavy, right? lol, so does this mascara, unfortunately. and this could easily come out clumpy if you apply too much. So what i've planned to do with this mascara is to use eyelash curler frequently while applying 1-2 layer of mascara.

To sum it up:

+ A bit easy to smudge, and made a little 'panda' eyes.
+ Feels heavy
+ Hard to remove
+ This did an amazing job at volumizing my lashes
+ Easy breezy applicator
+ Buildable, but kinda hard to built. If i apply too much, it could get clumpy, but if i apply too little, i might look the same as before i apply this.

So.. i think i'll give this:
 Photobucket
3 beauties
Lol, what i meant is 3 stars, but anyway.. please give me your comment, thank you !

Etude House Dream On Base 01 Mint Dream Slim and Cover: REVIEW

a pump-like bottle, with a sweet-cute cap! EH really wins my heart with just the packaging.
Feels so much different to write this post while fasting Photobucket weehee~
i bought this dream on base with my mom, it feels so much more when i shop with my family. such a great quality time i had back thenPhotobucket

Anyway, i intend to buy this because of what i experience last week. When i go home after taking facial, i spot some redness on my face, especially in the nose area. At first i thought it was a normal irritation that usually occurs after facial, and usually it'll disappear after 1 night. But this time, it won't disappear even after 2 days. Then i decided to buy this, in case if that is happening again.

Today, (well actually since 3 days ago) i have this red spot in my left hand, which will be the 'testing' subject for this product. this 'red spot' apparently appears after i play a game with my friends, a game which acquires the losers of the game being slapped in the hand. and trust me, it feels like HECK! aaaaaa Photobucket hurts so so much, but the game is just sooo fun that i played it like for 3 hours. Well, since words cannot describe how it hurts, i bet this picture could tell the story.

slightly looks like a mosquito bites. but actually its some sorta bruises.. mild bruises. Some of my friends also experiences this bruises thingy. its really obvious in the real life, good thing the camera didn't capture it so obviously, believe me, cause it is not so good to look at  Photobucket

Oh! i almost forgot, the link between this bruises and the Dream On Base 01 Mint Green is, we r gonna test this green babes to see if it really hides red-ness. (well, this bruises are kinda red right? a bit similar to the pimples in my face haha)

The base has such a heavenly texture. some sorta, creamy-velvety constancy, making it really easy to blend. well, if it isn't blend well, it might make your face pale.. and i don't wanna look pale unless i'm as hot as vampires Photobucket

the coverage is medium. but you could build it up to make it heavier, or less heavy. depends on how you wanna make it. i also discover that it could slightly fade the uneven skin tone in my face.
AHA! BE GONE MORTALS!!!!
The lasting power is not really predictable as its being covered by bb cream, but i think it's about 4 hours. Yesterday i tried it out with Etude House's Precious Mineral Bright Fit. And i hardly see the redness in 4 hours straight. After that, the redness is becoming visible again, but not as obvious as i didn't apply any makeup.

Pricey or not? hmm, since i bought this on the mall outlet, yes. it is pricey. But i saw this on some online shop a week ago, and its not that pricey.

Ok, lets just take the summary:

+Blends easily
+Lasts pretty good
+Has a REALLY cute packaging, and so are the scent. to the extent that i make it as an aromatherapy by putting it in a teabag, and hang it besides my bed, and then i suddenly feels like a hobo. Photobucket
+Medium (but buildable) coverage
+Not thick. which is a plus. i hate thick textured face makeup. that's why Photobucket
+Feels kinda dewy
+Looks pretty natural (set with medium-light coverage)

Overall, i'm glad i bought this Photobucket

I wore it yesterday while on salon, taking some creambath after a looong time, getting ready to go with my friends.Photobucket
hehehe sorry for the frog face i just made Photobucket
Anyway, i hope you enjoy reading my review! Photobucket

The Skin Food Peppermint Pore Diet Mask Peel off: REVIEW

Hello, my holiday has already finished, oh i'm gonna miss that holiday again. And its time to post a lot of posts this month! Weehee~

I actually wanted to post a haul post, OOTD,FOTD,Tutorials, and other posts aside from Reviews. But since i'm not good (actually i'm really bad at) matching clothes, soo.. i think a FOTD post might take awhile hahaha.

Go through down here to read more, and to see the close up of the text.
Personally, i think peel-off masks are more efficient than Sheet Masks. They lasts months, and are pretty easy to use, despite being harmful to sensitive skin. I heard that peel-off masks are more 'harsh' if used oftenly. idk, if its really true though, but, my cousin has proven it to me. She asks for the mask, and she taught me that it stings and her face starting to flake-off. aaand suddenly i felt guilty Photobucket
From that moment, i know her skin is sensitive. Besides, its not only those with sensitive skin who could experience this, you should check the ingredients if there's any that could harm your skin.. here's the photo of it

Anyway, this is what i like from Skin Food, the masks! they are pretty affordable too. Lets just try the mask, shall we?
Like all peel-off masks, they start with gel- some sorta 'glue' appearance, and this Skin Food Peppermint is definitely reminds me of PVA Glue, white, sticky, and dries-off. hahaha Photobucket

They dry pretty quick, i takes about 15 minutes. My favorite steps are, using 'The Face Shop Peeling Day: White Jewel' first, and then clean my face with AC clinic's Toner from ETUDE. And the mask afterward.
Face Mask! haha awkward pose. sorry about the sundae sticker though, i just like putting random things in my photos.
Sit-back, relax, listen to the music, and finally wait until it dries. Its smells 'icky' though.. smells like, well.. Peppermint, but with a hint of 'chemical' scent-like. And automatically gives me a 'hospital atmosphere'.
I don't want to be hospitalized Photobucket.

....and its finally dries! its a bit 'ouch' when comes to peel the mask But its all worth it. my pores are less visible, leaving my skin smooth and clean, this is just what i need! You know, when you're still at school, there are things that really disturbing for your skin, for example, when i go home, i have to get a cab on the side of the road, and there are massive amounts of pollution. leaving my skin dull and dirty, as well as the sun.

TADA! hahaha i made a Scream mask. in fact, i think this mask is frowning..

Alright, my skin is sooo ready to go to school aha! My overall rating is 4 out of 5. Just because it isn't really good for sensitive skin, and smells like medicine too.

That's all  Photobucket have a really good days for all of you, and i hope this holiday really makes our spirit came back! Yeehaaw Photobucket

Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner in Black :REVIEW

Horay! new eyeliner, and a new post. After my Make Up Forever Waterproof Eyeliner is running out, and its dry too *sob*, i decided to buy a new eyeliner. at least i'm ready to put it on when i needed to. Aaand the eyeliner is Tony Moly's Backstage Gel Eyeliner in Black!
i bought the black one, i take this pic under a yellow lamp, so it looks kinda brown here :)
To be honest, this is the first time i purchased a gel-type eyeliner. I always used liquid before. But starting to hate it 'cause it was easily smudged in my upper lid whenever i accidently opened my eyes before it went dry. that's how the things going if you have mono lids (or hooded lids), like me.

The texture is solid creamy-gel. The color is actually build-able, from blackest black, to grey-ish black, although it is buildable, I still recommend you to use black eyeshadow rather than this. Cause it looks fake for gradation purposes.

with water on top only
Waterproof? Let see if its really is..
If you pour a lot of water on it, it doesn't fade, but if you RUB it with water on top of it, well, the eyeliner will dissolve. In this picture, I rubbed it for about 20 times (haha I exceed the normal number of rubbing eyes, just to know how proof this eyeliner is) and it falls off.. But I'm still with it, who's gonna rub their eyes 20 times anyway? So we can imagine, if we cry and drop a lot of tears, it won't fade, but if we cry and WIPE the tears off our face continuously, I can't guarantee that the eyeliner still sits there..
with water on top, and then rubbed 20x
smudged hardly 30x

Is it smudgeproof? Yes, and I think this is the pro of this eyeliner, the picture above says I rubbed it without water 30 times, really hard, and still have the black-on. I have this bad habit of rubbing my eyes even if there's nothing on my eye, so i think i could use this whenever i'm aware enough.

The brush! OMG, the brush is a piece of yummy pie, lol. I mean, the brush is sooo soft and light, fits my hand, making me a lot easier while applying an eyeliner. Moreover, if I listen to greyson chance's paparazzi, hahaha *fangirl spotted*
The eyeliner it self is very smooth upon appliance, and glides on. Plus, the heavenly brush.. Equals incredible ease.

Oh yeah, the lasting power is great too. Remember my post about that ceremonial day and the EOTD? Yeah, I used this eyeliner. And the ceremony is about 6 hours. Without tears, and a bit of rubbing my eyes, I still come back with dense eyeliner on my eye!
Overall, i'm still loving it, because it is easy to apply. i find it easier when i use gel-type now.. NEW FOUND INTEREST~

+ Superb lasting (6 hours, or maybe more if you don't sweat or tears a lot)
+ a bit pricey, but worth it
+ very easy to apply
+ faint waterproof
+ impressive smudge proof

Tell me your thoughts, do you want to buy it? :) thanks for commenting!

Lohashill Rose Girl BB Cream: REVIEW

This is my first time purchasing this brand, Lohashill. i'm pretty frugal, so that's why i always purchase the sample first, before the full bottle. This time, i didn't regret to buy a sample size. Why?

Because, this bb cream doesn't match my skin, i'm NC 25-20, and it looked ashy upon appliance, even after a few hours. Big No. Even in real life, i looked like i wore a mask. You could imagine what i looked like in flash photographs, right?

People with very fair skin should fit this bb cream's shade. like NC-15 or so..

Oh, i find it really well-balanced, has good moist, so i think this is good for dry skin. too bad i still can't use this because of the shade. i guess this bb cream is more like a 'medicine' and 'make-up' at the same time, seeing from the description, my thought is proven a bit..

BB Cream (also known as Blemish Balm) is the much raved product that everybody is talking about in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the whole world!!! BB Cream was first used as an after treatment care product to cover the redness for people who underwent laser surgery. It contains healing properties that helps to conceal and protect the healing skin yet at the same time encourages skin regeneration!
The excellent result achieved was talked about and soon enough, Korean actresses started using BB Cream in their daily makeup routine to help achieve that natural flawless look! Use BB Cream to replace your make-up base/primer, concealer and even foundation! It's not only a foundation - it's a foundation with healing properties!
Lohashill BB Cream makes a clean and natural skin tone by being absorbed into your skin with a soft feel of use. This enables speedy makeup because of not needing to apply makeup base or foundation. Ingredients such as bisaborol, licorice root acid derivatives, allantoin helps in soothing your skin and ingredients such as jojoba oil, macadamianut oil, hyaluronic acid derivatives, vegetable collagen, etc. keep your skin wet and smooth.
See?
really glowy isn't?

And the scent are just... disturbing i guess, It smells like a PVA glue, that are often used in my favorite tv show.. Art Attack. Feels like i wore PVA glue all over my face, not the texture, but the scent.

About the texture, it is lotion like. very easy to blend. And has a dewy finish (i liked it actually), and it covers perfectly, it doesn't hide my medium-sized pimple, well, it dissolves a bit. but covers my pores, scars, and dark circle pretty good.
SPF is 35 pa+, better than my former bb creams which has 20-25 SPF only.

Summary:
+ Pretty nice Oil control, So does the Moisture.
+ It does soothe my skin, and making it a little supple.
+ Has SPF 35, pa+
+ Has a lot of Grey undertone, maybe that's why it doesn't fit my shade well?
+ Icky scent..
+ Easy to blend
+ Heavenly texture, it is like a lotion.
+ Dewy finish

Re-purchase the full version? Nope. if the shade is perfect for me, i would buy the full version, since it doesn't, then.. let me just finish the sample size for a treatment purpose in my house, and then made it an experience
